“I was overwhelmed with joy when I learned I would soon become a grandfather, eagerly awaiting the arrival of my twin grandchildren. The thought of holding them in my arms filled my heart with immense love and excitement. But life took an unexpected turn, and my world crumbled when they were born prematurely in the 8th month. These tiny, fragile souls are now fighting for their lives, relying on ventilators to breathe. My son, who works tirelessly as a driver, barely earns enough to keep his family afloat, and my daughter-in-law, a homemaker, is devastated. We are facing the unthinkable, unable to afford the ₹7,10,000 needed for their treatment. As a grandfather, my heart is shattered, and I am desperately seeking help to save these precious babies. Please, if you can, lend us your support in this moment of unimaginable despair.”
- Jitender Kumar, Grandfather of 8-month-old twin babies

Baby of Monika are just 8 months old twin, born prematurely suffering from Neonatal Respiratory distress syndrome. My babies needs mechanical ventilation support to survive.  Neonatal Respiratory distress syndrome disease occurs when the lungs don’t form properly. Because of severe complications, the child’s clinical condition is not good, and she faces difficulty in breathing and not gaining weight. Without an urgent treatment, this condition may worsen and cause organ damage and in the worst circumstances, even death.
Mr. Rohit and Mrs. Monika are the parents of 8-month-old premature twin baby. They are a family of 5 members. Monika is a homemaker, and Rohit is a driver. He merely earns INR. 8,000 per month. Such a small amount is just enough for the survival of this fa

  • Medical Condition

Baby of Monika are 8-month-old twin, a girl and a boy, suffering from Neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome disease. This condition is common in premature babies, where they develop immature lungs.
Total approximate expenditure for this Surgery is Rs. 7,10,000/- (Seven Lakh Ten Thousand Rupees Only)
They need mechanical ventilation and have been advised to stay in the hospital for treatment. This treatment is scheduled for at least 3-4 weeks.
The condition known as Neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome, or RDS, is a common cause of respiratory distress in a newborn, presenting within hours after birth, most often immediately after delivery. RDS primarily affects preterm neonates, and infrequently, term infants. The incidence of RDS is inversely proportional to the gestational age of the infant, with more severe disease in the smaller and more premature neonates. While treatment modalities, including antenatal corticosteroids, surfactants, and advanced respiratory care of the neonate, have improved the outcomes for patients affected by RDS, it continues to be a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the preterm infant.
With this family in such a situation; I would urge everyone to extend their support with whatever they can afford.
