Anjali and Prashant Talwalkar had been waiting for their first child. They had counted weeks, picked names, made small plans. They are first-time parents — and like every first-time parent, they expected the normal moments: a cry, a first feeding, a photograph to send to family.

  • Location

    nashik, maharashtra

  • Medical Condition

    Diagnosis:

    • Prematurity — born at 30 weeks 5 days (by LSCS dating) / 27 weeks 6 days (by USG)

    • Extremely Low Birth Weight — 960 grams

    • Severe Fetoplacental Insufficiency (poor blood and nutrient flow from placenta to baby during pregnancy)

    • Severe Respiratory Distress

    • Hyaline Membrane Disease (HMD) — lungs too underdeveloped to stay open

    • Severe Sepsis with Thrombocytopenia (serious bloodstream infection + dangerously low platelet count)

    • Septic Shock (life-threatening drop in blood pressure due to infection)

    Treatment currently underway:

    • Oxygen support

    • IV antibiotics — including Injection Tigecyclin (a high-grade antibiotic used only for resistant infections)

    • RT (Ryle's tube) feeding — because the baby is too small to feed orally

    • Other supportive NICU care (temperature regulation, blood pressure monitoring, fluid balance)

Expected duration of NICU stay: 50 days (started 08/04/2026) Current weight: 1.1 kg (up from 960 gm at birth — a positive sign, but she is nowhere near being able to leave the NICU)

    Dear Donors,

Thank you for your continued love and support for Baby Of Anjali.

It has been over two months since this tiny girl — born at just 960 grams and 30 weeks — began her fight for life at Nimai's Borneo Hospital, Nashik. And fight she has.

Her weight has slowly grown to 1.1 kg. Every gram she gains is a quiet victory — a sign that despite everything her fragile body has been through, she is still here, still responding, still trying.

However, she continues to need intensive medical care and close monitoring. Her journey is far from over. The family's financial burden remains heavy, and every day in the NICU adds to a cost that a ₹15,000 monthly income simply cannot sustain.

With the family going through such a difficult situation, we sincerely urge everyone to continue extending their support in whatever way possible.

Please share this campaign with those around you. Every contribution, however small, keeps this little girl in the care she needs.
