Update 21 Aug 2026
Dear Donors,
We are overjoyed to share some wonderful news: Baby of Devata has been discharged from the NICU and is finally home with his family.
Born 12 weeks too early, weighing just 1 kilogram, this little boy fought battles no newborn should ever have to face — and today, he is finally home, in the arms of the mother who never left his side. He is finally with his big sister Tejasvi, who had been waiting so patiently for her little brother to come home.
None of this would have been possible without you. Your generosity gave this baby the NICU care and medical support that carried him through his most critical days — and gave Sardar and Devata the chance to finally bring their son home, after a bill that had grown to more than eight times what this family earns in a year.
The family continues to need some support for follow-up care and medication as he settles in, but the hardest part of this journey is now behind them.
From all of us at Pledge Foundation, and from Devata and her family — thank you. You didn't just fund a treatment. You gave a mother her son, and a sister the brother she's been waiting for.
There are other little ones still fighting for their lives. If you wish to continue making a difference, please visit our active cases page and extend your support to any baby you feel called to help.

Update 24 Jul 2026
Dear Donors,
An update on baby of Devata, with heartfelt thanks for your continued support.
He is now 114 days old and has grown to 2.0 kg — a remarkable turnaround for a baby who has already fought through so much. We are hopeful that he may be discharged soon, but every remaining day in the NICU adds to a cost this family simply cannot manage on their own.
His mother Devata continues to stay by his side, while at home, their two-year-old daughter Tejasvi waits for her return. His father Sardar, a farmer with very limited means, continues to do everything he can to keep up with a bill that has already far outpaced what this family earns in a year.
As we near this important milestone, your continued support matters more than ever. With the family going through such a difficult situation, we sincerely urge everyone to continue extending their support in whatever way possible.
Please continue to share this campaign — every contribution brings this little one closer to finally coming home.
Regards,

Update 09 Jul 2026
Dear Donors,
Thank you for standing by Baby Of Devata.
This baby boy was born 12 weeks too early, weighing just 1 kilogram. From the very first day, his body was fighting battles that no newborn should have to face — and yet, he has not stopped trying.
Since his admission to Sai Sparsh Children's Hospital, Kolhapur, the medical team has been working tirelessly to give him the care his fragile body needs. We are glad to share that he is slowly responding — each day bringing with it a small, hard-won step forward.
His mother Devata has not left his side. She sits by the incubator every day, watching over him, holding his hand through the glass when she can — while at home, her two-year-old daughter Tejasvi waits for her to come back. It is an impossible situation for any mother to be in.
His father Sardar is a farmer in Gavashi village, Kolhapur. His annual income is ₹48,000. The hospital bill has already crossed ₹3 lakhs — more than eight times what this family earns in a year. They have exhausted loans, borrowed from relatives, and have nothing left to give.
The baby still has weeks of NICU care ahead. The need is urgent and ongoing.
Your support is the only thing standing between this family and an impossible choice. Please continue to contribute and share this campaign as widely as you can.
With the family going through such a difficult situation, we sincerely urge everyone to continue extending their support in whatever way possible.
